Candle Care

For the best and safest Vigueur experience, follow these care instructions:

• To prevent tunneling and promote an even burn, allow your first burn to last 2–3 hours, until a full melt pool forms across the surface. Candles have a ‘memory,’ making this step essential for every burn that follows.
• Properly maintain the wick by trimming 1/4 of an inch before each burn session, as untrimmed wicks can cause uneven burning.
• Burn in four hour intervals for optimal performance. Want more? Let the candle cool completely before relighting.
• Discard candle when the wax is down to one-quarter of an inch to prevent overheating and possible vessel damage.
• Always burn candles on a flat, stable surface, away from drafts, and out of reach of children and pets.
